Collaborative Therapy for Lasting Change
Starting counseling can feel like a big step, and I understand it might bring up a mix of emotions. You might feel a bit nervous, hopeful, or even unsure of what to expect. My goal is to make this a rich and rewarding experience for you, helping you gain valuable insight into your strengths and truly recognize your inherent worth.
I have experience working with a range of challenges, including navigating significant life changes like job loss and relocation, managing anxiety and depression, and addressing family issues, including the unique complexities of Not Parent Expected (NPE) experiences. I strongly believe in accepting and honoring your unique identity, your personal beliefs, and all your life experiences. You are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to walk alongside you.
It would be a privilege to collaborate with you as we forge a path toward positive change and personal growth. In our work together, I draw from an eclectic approach, incorporating techniques from mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This allows me to tailor our sessions to your specific needs and preferences, creating a supportive and effective environment for your journey.
